Sunday 8 April 2012

Well its been a few months since i last blogged and a lot has happened since then. There has been baking galore!, 2 photoshoots, tea taste testing, the purchase of the worlds biggest cool box ever! ... the list goes on.

Firstly Tea Vintage's photoshoot was held on the first day this year we had snow (and lots of it!) The tea vintage girls unloaded the full tea room set in our local scout hut and transformed this cold hut into an amazing vintage 1940's heaven. Emily Finch a fantastic make up and hair artist completely excelled  herself with our hair and make up for the shoot and we all enjoyed being pampered with a proper vintage make over.

After endless cups of tea and chat with lots of hairspray.... Ewa Sparshott our Vintage baker arrived with the most gorgeous yummy cakes to photograph on the set. Also arriving at the same time the amazing Marta Sputo our super talented photographer to bring this whole cake mix together into a plate of perfect vintage photos.

Off we went. see pics below:

Thank you girls for all your hard work and great company on such a busy but exciting long and cold day.
The day was a real insight to how the whole set looks, where to put the tea cups,  display the cakes etc so that we can flow well when serving guests and also gave us a good idea how long to set up and pack away.
After the last photo was taken we all sat back and took it all in. actually it was a shame to take it all down.
I left the venue with my head buzzing with ideas and excitement with where i would be going with Tea Vintage this year. Watch out world here we come!
Cake photoshoot next.. watch this space....

time for a tea break, until next time
